Hockey stars shine in the Valencia Fallas Trophy

FALLAS VALENCIA TROPHY will be a good way of proving physical condition for many of the players who will compete in the Olympics this summer in Brazil.

The six teams playing during the three days of competition include the presence of figures like Carlos Nevado from Hamburger Polo Club (Olympic gold in 2008, World Cup winner in 2006, European bronze in 2005 and winner of the Champions Trophy in 2007) , along with his teammate Matthias Witthaus (Olympic gold in 2008 and 2012, European champion in 2011 and two Championship winner); Rafi Adriá Dvoracex, FC Barcelona’s goalkeeper (2 years selected for the U16 and part of the Spanish selection U18 last year); Pablo Usoz, current coach of CH Pozuelo (Women Spanish coach for two Olympic Games in 2004 and 2008 and silver medalist in Atlanta 1996 as a player); and our local player from CH Xaloc, Cesar Curiel (selected in the U16 Spanish team for the 5 nation championship in Breda 2015).

These great hockey players, among others, may show us their physical conditions and skills demonstrating what makes them worthy of of a place at the Olympic Games in Brazil.
